There are several reasons for choosing this book. Obviously the current events in our country are foremost in my mind. This book has been on nearly every list I have seen for education on the whole white supremacy/ systemic racism issue. as I started reading, I had to pause and really think about the points DiAngelo was putting forth. After the introduction – I thought if might be useful to invite others to read, discuss and figure out where we go from here.
